Who they are:
Enterprise System Administrators are a powerful extension of the traditional SysAdmin role—with elevated capabilities that let them shape and scale application deployment across multiple Enclaves.
What they do:
Like standard System Administrators, Enterprise SysAdmins can create and manage applications within an Enclave. But what sets them apart is their ability to work at an enterprise level—creating and deploying templates designed for repeatable, standardized use.
Here’s what they can do:
-
Create “private templates” in Enclaves that are flagged as template-enabled
-
Define both editable, site-specific roles and locked, enterprise-defined roles and services
-
Use these templates to create fully-formed applications with built-in structure
-
Deploy those applications into other Enclaves on behalf of local teams—ensuring consistency, security, and efficiency across sites
This role empowers central IT or security teams to drive standardization while still giving site admins flexibility where it’s allowed.
The Ideal Fit:
This role is built for enterprise-level administrators or architects who manage networked systems across multiple locations or business units and want to streamline deployments with centralized controls.
The Persona:
We refer to this user as Elliot Stratton the Enterprise SysAdmin—strategic, systems-minded, and focused on creating scalable, secure frameworks that others can build upon.
